Spring is here, so it's time to get away and just "be."  

No agenda. No schedule. No cell phone. No email.

Franklin County Virginia - Yeah She's All That!

Shellie your innkeeper can give you directions to this lovely waterfall, it is just 8 miles from The Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast. It is on the homestead property of a very famous historic site.  She can tell you more about it if you are interested!

Each year we have the Pigg River Ramble Canoe and Kayak Race that goes right past this waterfall.  We also have the MW Mountain Bike Race and other events near here.  This day March 12, 2011 it was 69 degrees, the flyfisherman wearing creels, little childnren were chasing kites, older folks walking dogs, we had bikes, camera and exploration in mind.  But never too much that we couldn't sit by the river and take it all in!
