Tailgate South formed in 2008, after several Nashville writing sessions, Mickey Kelley and Tony Lopacinski discovered that they shared a common vision for country music. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the great melodies and harmony vocals that comprise their sound. They have written songs for established Country artists including the top ten hit for Josh Gracin - "We Weren't Crazy." Tony is a Virginia native and a graduate of Virginia Tech. These guys have toured in the backing bands of such artists as Train, Josh Gracin, Sarah Buxton, Bobby Pinson and Sara Evans Now Tailgate South is ready to set off on their own path. One listen to their songs and you're sure to follow them down the road.

Mike Willis is an artist and songwriter originally from Atlanta but now based in Nashville. His roots are an integral part of his existence and naturally carry over into every aspect of his music.
