Franklin County Virginia is called "The Land Between the Lakes" as we sit on the eastern foothills in the shadow of the Blue Ridge, we also encompass two of Virginia's largest and most famous lakes "Smith Mountain Lake" to the north and "Philpott Lake" to the south. Both are home to trophy and citation fish. You will also recognize Smith Mountain Lake as the home to the Blue Ridge Brawl on ESPN (Bassmasters Tournie).
