I know I know I am just a kid...I have always been told that by my older peers.But I am now older than Tony's Mum when I first met her in Australia when we got hitched! Howzdat for ya? Hard to imagine...
(Here we are, both of us, the old married couple, now we are 43)
Peak leaf season this week.
You can't see our other maples that are bright yellow to the left in this photo, trust me they are breathtaking! But you can see we removed the 18 ferns from the porch and placed them in the glass house down below - it is the little glass enclosure below the porch with southern exposure to hopefully help us winterize the ferns for next year. If I remember to water them and keep them snuggly warm down there, then they might have a chance. But you know the saying, out of sight out of mind!
Now you can see the colors way off in the distance from the porch, it is really lovely.
We have a very unusual houseful of guests this weekend, birthdays and anniversaries and ALL from within our great commonwealth! This is indeed a treat, and a great weekend full of celebrations!
