NASCAR in Martinsville

State Fair of Virginia - September 23-October 3
Virginia's finest agriculture, blue ribbon-worthy exhibits, animal competitions, midway rides and great musical entertainment highlight the Fair in its new location at Meadow Event Park in Caroline County.

Richmond Folk Festival- October 8-10
Embracing all things folk in Virginia, the Richmond Folk Festival features more than 30 performing groups on seven stages. Enjoy folk art demonstrations, kids activities, a wide variety of food, and so much more!

Fall Wine Festival at Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens - October 1-3
Admire the scenery along the Potomac River while tipping a glass from your choice of 16 Virginia wineries. Plan ahead to enjoy a fruit and cheese box with your wine, just as George and Martha would have.

Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival - September 25-26
Sample wine from 27 of Virginia's best vineyards, browse through juried crafts, and enjoy live entertainment over the course of this two-day event at LakeWatch Plantation on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake.

Urbanna Oyster Festival - November 5-6
In it's 53rd year, the festival - "A Salute to the Oyster" - is the official Oyster Festival of the Commonwealth. Highlights include the Fireman's Parade, Oyster Festival Queen & Little Miss Spat, Oyster Shucking Contest and the focal point of the festival, the Oyster Festival Parade.
