September 22 - 25 - Nothin' Fancy Bluegrass Festival at Glen Maury Park, Buena Vista.
September 23 - 26 - Irish Draught Horse Society of North America Show at the Virginia Horse Center.
September 26 - Carolina Chocolate Drops at the Lime Kiln Theater in Lexington. Following the concert all are welcome to participate in contra dancing.
September 29 - October 2 - ASHAV Horse Show for saddlebred horses and Hackney ponies
at the Virginia Horse Center.
October 1 and 2 - VMI Full Dress Cadet Parade at 430 pm on VMI parade grounds.
