RIDE THE GOOSE!! Formerly a rail line upon which the gas-powered tram called the 'Galloping Goose' transported passengers from Victoria to Sooke in the 1920's, this trail is an easy, scenic ride. The 55km Galloping Goose trail connects with the 29km Lochside Trail which runs to Sidney. Rather than having to ride on the roads, cyclists arriving by ferry at either Sidney or Victoria can use these trails to explore much of southern Vancouver Island.
Our Bed and Breakfast is RIGHT ON THE GOOSE TRAIL between km26 and km27 a perfect base from which to explore Sooke or Victoria. Use the reservation form on this website to book your cycle holiday or email us for more information.
