How To Find Us

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING WEEKDAYS, THE TRAFFIC MAY BE HEAVY AFTER 3:00 P.M. ALLOW AN EXTRA 15 MINUTES TRAVEL TIME.

    FROM DOWNTOWN VICTORIA:
  • Take HIGHWAY #1 North to EXIT 14 (the Langford / Sooke exit). Make sure you choose the lane to "Sooke" NOT " Highlands ".
  • Follow the off ramp up to the "Veterans' Memorial Parkway " (a.k.a. the Millstream Connector) and get into the middle lane.
  • Continue straight on the Memorial Parkway to the end (you will cross Goldstream, Meaford, Attree, Kelly, Sooke Rd. , and Cairndale).
  • At the end of this road you will come to Latoria Rd.
  • Turn left onto Latoria.
  • Continue to the end of Latoria Rd. (you will go through a large gravel pit).
  • Turn right onto Metchosin Rd.
  • Keep straight on until you come to our little village (at intersection of Metchosin Rd., Happy Valley Rd., and William Head Rd. ). Here you will see the Metchosin Country Store, the Community Hall, and the 'My Chosen Cafe'.
  • Go straight through this intersection (do not turn) and continue on WILLIAM HEAD RD. for about 2 K (just over 1 mile) passing Parry Rd.(on left at bottom of hill), Taylor Rd. (on right), and Lombard Dr. (on right).
  • Continue on William Head Rd. (as above) until you reach our B&B (just past Lombard Dr .). Our driveway is on the right (almost opposite Swanwick Rd. which is on the left).

SWALLOW HILL FARM is on the right about 1/2 K (1/4 mile) past Lombard Dr. It's the big brown house up on the right hand side. There is a sign out front before you get to our drive. At the entrance to our drive is a post with the #s 4910 arranged vertically down the post. The #s are also reflective. If you are coming after dark, look for the red apple [lighted outline] on the side of our barn.


FROM AIRPORT, BC FERRY TERMINAL (Swartz Bay), or WASHINGTON STATE FERRY TERMINAL (Sidney):

Take HIGHWAY #17 to the McKenzie turn-off for HIGHWAY #1 NORTH. Then follow above directions.


FROM NANAIMO AND THE NORTH PART OF THE ISLAND:

Take HIGHWAY #1 South to EXIT 14 (the Langford / Sooke exit) follow the off ramp and turn right on to Millstream Rd. (a.k.a "Millstream Connector or Veterans' Memorial Parkway ") and get into the middle lane Continue as per above directions.
