A Sunset Chateau is owned and operated by Janet, Philippe and Jean Christophe Buillet, who purchased the property in 2003. Our lush 2 acre hilltop property boasts of spectacular red rock views and a unique southwest charm. Both Janet and Philippe are artists (painter/sculptors) who met, lived and created artwork together in Paris. As artists, they have graced the inn with numerous murals and paintings, and have extensively renovated the Chateau to reflect their desires for an inviting peaceful haven. Janet and Philippe view the acquisition of A Sunset Chateau as a gift from God. We take the commission of being a blessing to our guests very seriously and do our best to provide an environment for travelers that is comforting, peaceful, and permeated with God's presence. Airport Mesa Loop Trail - 4 mile loop - Easy to Medium The Airport Mesa Look Trail is a picturesque, easy to medium difficulty four mile loop trail, right across the street from A Sunset Chateau. On the trail you will summit the Airport Mesa and will encounter beautiful panoramic views of Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek, with a birds-eye view of Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Coffeepot, Wilson Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and others. The Airport Mesa Look Trail is one of the most picturesque trails in Sedona and is right outside your door at A Sunset Chateau. |
