  • Oatman - Feed the wild burros that roam the streets of this former gold mining town, or visit the Clark Gable and Carol Lombard Honeymoon Suite at the Oatman Hotel, constructed in 1921.
  • Powerhouse Route 66 Museum - Travel back to the Frontier Days, feel the tragedy of the Great Depression, see the glory of the automobile age, watch a movie at the cinema, and take a tour of downtown Kingman as seen during the 1950's.

  • Grand Canyon Caverns - Descend by elevator 21 stories into the earth for a guided tour along 45 minutes of paved, lighted trails through 3 million-year-old undersea fossils. Once back at the surface, relax in the restaurant or cocktail lounge, and browse the gift shop.
  • Hualapai Mountain Park - Enjoy majestic views, hiking, or picnicking in this county park nestled in the forest. Higher elevations are home to mule deer, elk, mountain lions, foxes and a wide variety of birds.

  • Bonelli House - Built of light gray, locally quarried tufu stone, the Bonelli House in Kingman is a marvelous example of Anglo-territorial architecture. The house was renovated in 1973 when the city razed the neighborhood to make way for new municipal buildings.
  • White Cliffs Wagon Trail Park - Explore a piece of history along the wagon road that was once used to bring ore from the Stockton Hill Mines to the railroad.
  • Locomotive Park - Home to famed steam engine #3759. Rebuilt in 1927, this "Northern type" coal burning steam locomotive was converted to run on oil fuel in 1941. It was the last steam engine to traverse the line to Kingman.
  • Mohave Museum of History and Arts - See what Mohave County looked like before it was settled. There's an outdoor display featuring wagons, mining equipment, farm machinery and a wooden Santa Fe caboose from the 19th century.
  • Arizona Wildlife Outfitters - www.huntinfo.com/awo.htm - Located in Kingman, this is a high quality outfitter/guide service that was started in 1987 by Don Martin, a native Arizonan who has hunted, fished and explored Arizona all his life. AWO owner Don Martin stresses that the reason his business has risen to the top in the outfitter/guide industry in Arizona is that AWO specializes in offering top quality hunting opportunities at a very affordable price. Don noted that his guides have an average of over 10 years experience hunting in Arizona.
