Our new home is Tucson's newest Bed & Breakfast, located in the mountains off Gates Pass and only 10 minutes from downtown Tucson's historical Presidio District and Convention Center. Built in the Tucson Mountains overlooking the Sonoran Desert, La Zarzuela offers a unique blend of elegant, yet casual ambiance. |

Imagine that you have a very well-to-do friend, with very good taste, who owns a large, private villa in the Tucson Mountains (think carefree). This friend, being a very good friend, offers you the use of the villa and its staff, who have been instructed to do anything your heart desires: arrange flights, limos, massages, dinner, whatever-anything to make you blissfully happy. That's La Zarzuela, "the operetta," in a nutshell. |

Expansive covered patios are furnished as comfortably as any family room, down to a poolside stereo, lending a certain entrance to poolside lounging. And, the pool and spa look as though they extend into the surrounding desert. Fresh coffee is ready at 7:30 a.m., and breakfast is served from 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. Breakfast is a gourmet, full course meal, including: baked fruit, fresh homemade pastries, and a hot baked dish. On Sunday mornings, a four course brunch is served. The only complaint about Zarzuela's food is that too much is served. |

Overlooking the Great Room is our Lobby. On this level is a Rodgers Pipe Organ and soon a piano. One Sunday afternoon of each month La ZarZuela will be host afternoon musicales providing local university students an opportunity to showcase their talent. A donation will be accepted at the door with all the monies going to the performer. Above the Greatroom is the guest entertainment center where you can check the latest news on CNN, listen to any of the CDs in our collection and select videos to play in your casita.

La Zarzuela offers full concierge and travel planning services, including flight and car reservations, itinerary planning, picnic lunches, reservations at fine local restaurants that best meet your needs and limousine service is available at a nominal price.
La Zarzuela is a magnifcent backdrop for your special events. We can readily host and cater functions for small groups with up to 40 people, or host corporate meetings and seminars for up to 24 people.
