Also, each room has a private, custom-tiled bathroom with shower, jetted tub, hair dryer and toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash) – and everyone gets their own comfy bathrobe. Finally, each room has an AM/FM radio/alarm clock (so you won’t miss breakfast) with MP3 hook-up. And each room is secured with numeric door locks so no keys are needed.

This is our largest room by far. It has a California King-sized four poster bed, sofa, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, natural gas fireplace, a 15" TV in the bathroom (in addition to the 32" TV/DVD in the bedroom) and ladies dressing table. The view overlooks the town of Williams from the bedroom and the forest from the bathroom. Chandeliers, double sinks, oversized shower, two-person jetted tub, beautiful tile and a vaulted ceiling add to the charm of the luxurious bathroom. This room rate is $250 per night.

Instead of Somerset, perhaps this room should be called the "Sunset Room" because of the nightly show that lights up the sky behind Three Sisters Mountains and the town of Williams. The room features a Queen-sized bed and private French door to a common outdoor balcony complete with rocking chairs. This room rate is $175 per night.

The color of this spacious room reminds us of the seascapes of Cornwall County on the English coast. Built-in shelves serve as a headboard for reading lights on both sides of the King-sized bed. The tranquil forest view from this room is as soothing as its color scheme. The rate for this room is $175 per night.

This, our smallest room, features a King-sized bed, wall-mounted flat screen TV and views overlooking the forest behind the house. This room rate is $160 per night.

• The FireLight is a nonsmoking house but ash trays are conveniently located outside.
• We love pets but cannot accommodate them. However, excellent kennels are available to public at the Grand Canyon Railway. We've personally inspected the facilities and would house our pets there without hesitation.
• We love kids too, but the FireLight is for adults 18 years of age and older.
• A full breakfast is served at 8:30am. You'll have plenty of time to catch the train if you're booked to ride. However, if you need to be on your way even earlier, you'll find coffee, pastries and fruit on the dining room table. Help yourself.
• Internet access is available in the study or connect to our wireless router with your laptop, anywhere in the house.
• A telephone is available for your use in the study. You may call anywhere you wish in the Continental United States (the lower 48) at no charge. (An emergency phone is centrally located upstairs for all the rooms.)
• There are no keys in the FireLight. We'll give you your personal access code to the front door and your room when you arrive.
• The billiards table, downstairs, is for you to enjoy as are all the toys on the third floor: shuffleboard table, juke box, Wii and other games and puzzles.
• Parking is at the top of the driveway directly in front of the three garage doors.
• The FireLight is located on a steep lot that overlooks the town of Williams and all the rooms are located on the second floor. If you have trouble walking up stairs, the FireLight is probably not a good choice for you.
• Check-in is between 4 and 6 pm. If you know you can't make it here by 6 pm, a phone call is very much appreciated.
• Check-out is 11 am
• The FireLight will confirm your reservation by placing your full room rate on your VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover plus the tax rate of 4.5%. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival for any refund. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged against all cancelled reservations. No refund will be given for reservations cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival UNLESS we're able to rent your room(s) for the day(s) you reserved.
