Hacienda del Rey was built in 1996 and has 5,500 square feet under roof. We are nestled on 4 acres adjacent to open land and close to the Saguaro National Monument West.

"Arizona" is derived from "Arizonac," a ranch just south of the Mexican border. The area around Arizonac, an Indian word for "small springs," or "place of little water," was important to the Spanish because of its rich silver mines. This wealth or gold, silver and copper transformed Arizona into a territory and, eventually a state.
The city of Tucson, a fast growing metropolitan area was founded August 20, 1775. Tucson is the oldest continually inhabited settlement in the United States. A climate of low humidity, blue skies and mild winters, compliments outdoor activities year round.
