Introduction
Birders Vista Bed and Breakfast is a quiet, country retreat with wonderful views of the Huachuca and Mule mountains with a beautiful backyard garden and plenty of birds. It is a stucco home at an elevation of 4500 feet, on 4 acres, with reading library of 1500 books, cozy living room with fireplace, stereo, wireless high speed internet access, TV, VCR, DVD and telescope for guests.
Birders Vista is located only ten minutes away from the Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve and the San Pedro Riparian Area, central to internationally recognized key birding areas. We are located eighty miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona.
In season, you will find fresh flowers in your room and enjoy fresh fruit from the orchard on the north side of the house. Enjoy breads made from our pears, apricots, plums and apples. We have fresh pears in September and October. We also make our own organic plum jams and organic apricot preserves.
Sit on the veranda or under the pergola in the backyard garden and enjoy the birds watching you as they come to feed. We have around 30 species of birds on our four acres at any given time.
We have several room options - two rooms with private baths and entrances or a suite with two bedrooms, a sitting area and private bath. All rooms have queen size beds and pillow-top mattresses. The rooms have shower/tubs with shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers.
All rooms include full breakfast in the dining room overlooking the front courtyard or sit on the back veranda and watch the "morning traffic jam" at our bird feeders. We have plum jelly made from our organic plums from our orchard. For anyone with special dietary requirements, arrangements can be made to accommodate your needs. A vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free menu is also available upon request. Please let us know when making your reservations. Early breakfast is available for birders.
