Introduction
The Adobe Guesthouse is a secluded retreat located in the heart of the Armory Park Historic District.
Just a block from Tucson's Arts District and four short blocks from the Tucson Convention Center, this guest house is an easy walk to performance and event venues, as well as many fine restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Its central location affords easy access to I-10 and to the University of Arizona.
The Adobe Guesthouse was built in 1893 as a stable for the main home.
Your hosts, Robert Bailey (architect) and Stephen Grede (landscape architect) have lovingly restored this adobe and wood structure to a self-sufficient unit.
Gardens
Come and enjoy the comfort and privacy of our guest house within the lush, private gardens -- a world unto itself. Have breakfast on the private patio while being serenaded by a nearby fountain.
The two resident dogs and cats may greet you as you lay in the hammock under the pine and Chinaberry trees.
The Adobe Guesthouse has secure off-street parking and a private patio and entrance. Within the charming interior lies a separate living and dining area with a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a generous bathroom. Everything one needs for their home away from home.
