Named for Trenary's Oak, an old oak tree that used to stand on the restaurant property, the Lone Oak Tavern was established in the 1920s and has been a favorite place to dine for locals and travelers for decades. The Lone Oak Tavern offers seafood dishes such as crab cakes and crab topped tilapia, as well as land lover dishes like roasted turkey and Tavern ribeye, a house specialty. Although the tree has been replaced by a 35-foot mural replica, the friendly environment, great service and delicious food continue the tradition. The Lone Oak Tavern is open until 10 p.m. nightly.
