The membership for Virginia Tech Golf Course is open to public. You can enjoy unlimited play, discounted cart rates, priority tee times, a discount of 10 percent on apparel and even a Christmas sale preview. The golf course is open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. year round. It offers private lessons by appointment. The course also offers additional services such as club repair and regripping, and locker rentals. It has a pro shop that features 250 square feet of retail area, a vending area, club/pull cart rentals and locker rooms.

Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course is a 9-hole golf course that features 2,731 yards of golf for a par of 35. It has a 33.2 course rating and a 109 slope rating. Established in 1971, the golf course was designed by Ferdinand Garbin. The annual play tickets are priced at around $250 for weekdays only for individuals, and $350 for "play anytime" for individuals. Members can add up to three family members (who have the same address with the member) for an additional charge of $60 per person. With two challenging 9-hole layouts, a 71.5 course rating, and a 130 slope from championship tees, The Blacksburg Country Club offers an exciting golfing time to its members. It has four sets of tees to match different skill levels. The course has around 60 sand bunkers and numerous water holes to give you a challenging round. There are no tee times at the Blacksburg Country Club during weekdays.
