Two Tannery Road has a long history that begins in the 1700s and involves ownership by President Theodore Roosevelt's family. Pictures hang on the restaurant walls of the three building re-locations it took place over the centuries. With the physical history patrons visually experience, they also have the opportunity to indulge their taste buds in the perfection that was gained. All guests at Two Tannery start with warm rolls that melt in your mouth but have the perfect flaky crunch for texture. Beyond the delicious starter and appetizers, entrees served include Roasted Long Island Duckling in a blackberry sauce, Pan Roasted Salmon Cakes diced with Gorgonzola cheese, shallots and spinach and served with a lemon herb tater sauce, and Char-Grilled Lamb Rib Chops paired with apple, pear and maple chutney. Great and friendly staff that is well versed in their diner menu and wine list. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Of West Dover restaurants, Two Tannery Road ranks among the most delicious.
