The Fleming Museum is located at the University of Vermont. This museum opened in 1931 as a learning tool for Vermont citizens. This fascinating museum has almost 500 intricately wood carvings of birds on display. You'll discover over 250 species of birds known to Vermont. The carvings are life-like masterpieces from two very talented wood carvers. The carvers spend a great deal of time making each carving true to life and every detail is represented with care.
