Visitors will learn all there is to know about the Holocaust survivors, and help to remember those that weren't nearly as lucky. Self guided digital audio tours are available each day at no additional cost, and if you take advantage of this feature you should plan to stay at the museum for at least two hours in order to be able to experience everything. Sunday through Friday, live speeches are usually given by the survivors themselves so the experience can be very humbling.

Located just south of the heart of Dallas, you will find 13 acres that boast some of the coolest museums in the state. The main museum takes you back to the era of the mid 1800s, with artifacts and furniture displayed to exhibit what life was like during this time period in Texas. More than 30 historic structures can be explored while on the premises that can't be found anywhere else in the state. Events throughout the year make this one of the more exciting Dallas attractions to visit.

The West End is an historic part of downtown Dallas that offers plenty of shopping, entertainment and dining options. Considered one of the most popular Dallas attractions in the area, you can find something for everyone here. After a good night's sleep at your Mineola Bed and Breakfast, head over to this 95-acre park for a little fresh air and a chance to stretch your legs. There are tons of animals to inspire visitors of all ages including bears, tigers, antelopes, monkeys and elephants. There is a huge eating dome located in the middle of the zoo, and a visitor-friendly gift shop that carries everything from postcards to stuffed animals. The park is so big you should plan on spending an entire afternoon with the animals.
