Exhibits you'll see are Mundo Maya, South Africa, Orinoco, Borneo and the aquarium. Mundo Maya houses birds of prey, hummingbird species, storks, mammals, reptiles and marine life. South Africa contains penguins, turtles and certain species of frogs. Orinoco provides more extensive exhibits of birds. Borneo is home to species native to that area such as fish and kangaroos. At the aquarium are sharks and rays. Each exhibit features an excellent collection of wildlife. There are performances by the Mayan Troupe and various informative shows throughout the day.
Hours of daily operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March through August. Adults visit for $20.95 plus tax. Children ages 3 to 12 pay $12.95 plus tax. Youngsters under two get in free.
