Hunting areas are marked in the forest, so hunters should be careful to stay within those boundaries. Hunting with dogs is allowed from Labor Day through March 31. People hunt deer, rabbits, squirrel, doves and more in the 1,100 acres of forest that are open to hunting. The hunting grounds are just a short drive from your Newville inn.
