Shenango and Towpath Trails

Just a mile away from your Clark Bed and Breakfast, this short loop trail begins at the historic Erie Extension Canal on the east side of the Shenango Reservoir, connects with the Shenango Trail through woodlands and fields and returns via the old towpath to the banks of the river. The Shenango trail connects Big Bend with Kidd's Mill - a distance of 7.5 miles.

In the spring the trail is carpeted with wildflowers and there's a suspension bridge that's fun to cross. Best avoided in the summer as it's overgrown with poison ivy and buzzing with mosquitoes.
