If you like bluegrass, military band or rocking guitar playing, you will enjoy the special music entertainment hosted at this bandstand. Special featured entertainment along the river where the concerts take place sometimes includes cardboard boat races or fireworks. You may even find a gambling tent, rides and games. Local artists often display their crafts at various tables at these events, and antique dealers are proud to host their booths. The little ones are thrilled to find zoo animals often resting in these locations at the time of the music series. Some years, corn hole tournaments take place for loads of fun. It's exciting to stroll along the riverfront at this time of the season. These concerts are accessible for persons with disabilities.

If you're looking for exciting race car shows, head on over to Moler Raceway Park, about 30 minutes from your delightful New Richmond Bed and Breakfast. Thrilling race car driving is normally held every Friday evening, with the gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Enjoy the Hot Laps at 7:00 p.m., and then the racing begins at 7:30. Cars such as Chevettes and late models appear in the regular shows with vintage American race cars, rodeos and concerts in the special shows. In 2011, the admission prices are $13 for adults, $5 for students and children 6 and over, with kids under the age of 6 free. There is no charge for parking.
Cardboard Boat Museum

The Cardboard Boat Museum, located on the Ohio riverfront, is the only type of museum of this style that you will discover in the entire world. It features the unique and creative designs of boats made from cardboard, including paint and duct tape. The crews are human powered, consisting of usually one to six people. Operational hours are on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Tours and workshops to learn how to build the cardboard boats are offered for both adults and students, and can be arranged by calling the museum. Donations are accepted to help to support the Cardboard Boat Museum.
