Matthew's Gorgeous Dogwalking Parks

If bringing your dog is part of the plan for your next vacation to a Matthews bed and breakfast, BBOnline recommends that you take the time to check out some of the many dog friendy parks in and around Matthews. Things to do in these dogwalking parks include everything from walking with your canine friend along a nature trail, to playing fetch in a secure, fenced, off leash dog area. In all of Mecklenburg County, use of dog parks is free, and the parks are open every day from 7:30 am until sunset. Just make sure you have your dog properly vaccinated, so that he or she will be able to use all of the leash free areas.

Matthews is a very small town, so the majority of nice dogwalking parks are not actually located within Matthews, but in the surrounding cities of Charlotte and Cornelius.
