The Summer Arts and Crafts Festival is a wonderful grouping of handmade items from across the Southeast. Talented artisans present their work to the public in an outdoor setting at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Each craftsman is in their own covered area and next to other vendors in rows. The Great Smoky Mountain Trout Festival is wholesome family fun. Grab your favorite blanket or a couple of lawn chairs and enjoy the North Carolina sun. An abundance of kids' activities are available at the festival. There is a free expo tent which teaches young children water safety and how to fish. There are also arts and crafts and games for kids. Adults will enjoy the live music, wildlife demonstrations and artwork on display. Fall Rally in the Valley is two days and nights full of motorcycle related activities. Motorcycle enthusiasts will be overjoyed with the large amount of vendors, who sell everything from jackets to helmets. Harley Davidson merchandise composes a lot of the items sold. A stunt show takes place daily and there is also a bike show. Visitors can enter their motorcycle in the show for a small fee. There is additionally live music to keep the crowd going and an abundance of food vendors to satisfy any appetite. Other games and entertainment round off the weekend. The Fall Rally in the Valley takes place in the middle of September and goes on for two or three days. Visitors will have plenty of time to enjoy the festival and their Maggie Valley Inn.
