Charlotte music is outstanding to say the least. However, without a space in which to hear it, local and national artists would not have a home to share their art and love. Charlotte is filled with entertainment venues and BBOonline.com has the best for you to visit while staying in a Charlotte Bed and Breakfast.
1615 Elizabeth Avenue
Charlotte, NC 28204-2510
Visulite Theatre is one of Charlotte's most premier music venues. A renovated movie theater, this small venue offers music almost nightly. The sound system here is fantastic, and perfectly showcases the great bands that frequent the stage, ranging from rock, blues, jam band and more. The service is just as good, and the drink prices can't be beat. Because the space is small, limited tables are available. Ticket prices vary from $0-$20 based on the act. When you leave your Charlotte Inn, stop by Visulite Theatre for an evening of great entertainment.
Amo's South End
1423 South Tryon Street
Charlotte, NC 28203-4249
Amo's South End is a casual nightspot where singles come to mingle. They also come to enjoy the superb music that echoes off the walls. From reggae and punk to 80s flashbacks and blues, Amos's has great music nearly every night of the week. A large dance floor is available, as well as a balcony lounge with sofas and chairs to rest your feet. Certainly a great night away from your Charlotte Bed and Breakfast. The staff is friendly and makes a stiff drink. The sound system is not the greatest, but the awesome acts Amo's pulls in makes up where they lack. Tickets generally range around $20 and are worth it every time.

For those who need a refresher course, or looking to learn for the first time, Coyote Joe's offers line dance and two-step classes on Wednesday evenings. House of Jazz
8630 University Exec Park Drive
Charlotte, NC 28262-4373
The French Quarter of New Orleans is also found on the streets of Charlotte music. The atmosphere at the House of Jazz embodies the New Orleans classic 'Big Easy' feel. Many come for dinner on the first floor before relaxing to some wonderful music on the second. Other guests stop by in the evening, paying a $10 cover charge for the toe-tapping tunes. Reservations not accepted for dinner or cocktail tables. Additionally, while many dishes on the menu are wonderful, others can be mediocre. Despite this, the House of Jazz is a great Charlotte music venue.
Double Door Inn
1218 Charlottetowne Ave
Charlotte, NC 28204
An intimate blues bar, Double Door Inn once hosted Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy on its stage, two of many amazing acts that took place in this venue over the past 20 years. Locals frequent this establishment, and are generally an older crowd that truly appreciates the entertainment created on stage. Also offers a great happy hour atmosphere for those looking for an afternoon drink.
