About 25 minutes from Geneva is Roseland Waterpark. This 56-acre water park is the largest in the Finger Lakes area and is a great choice of many fabulous Geneva activities. Besides the comfortable heated water, this park has lifeguards on staff, and is a hit with visitors of all ages.

Attractions at this water park includes the 27,000 square-foot Giant Wave Pool and ocean simulator, for younger guests is the Splash Factory with 12 water cannons and 6 water slides, the Mammoth Raft Ride, the Speed Slides that twist or descend straight down from 65 feet, the relaxing 600-foot Adventure River with waterfalls, amazing Tube Slides, and many events. Visitors can request bocce ball and beach volleyball, free at the marina.

The water park normally operates from June 26th until September 6th depending on the weather. This park would be a great choice to visit from a nearby Geneva inn.

This 150-mile railway runs in central New York. Passenger excursions normally operate from the month of April to December often on Wednesdays, occasionally on Thursdays and on weekends. Themed train rides are also available to view the fall foliage, a Santa Train, and more.

About 35 minutes from Geneva is the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse offering fun musical and theater youth performances. The forecasted 2011 season boasts shows such as "Anything Goes," "Hairspray," "Cooking with the Calamari Sisters," "42nd Street", "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up," and "The Marvelous Wonderettes." Seneca Lake State Park is a great place to relax and enjoy water sports such as swimming and boating. The Sprayground is unique with 100 water jets and is a great playground for children from ages 4 to 12. Picnic areas and pavilions are also available for an enjoyable time for the whole family. The beach is usually opened on the weekends only in season, however, the Sprayground is opened every day usually from May 29th until September 6th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the marina itself is normally opened from April 1st to October 29th.
