The Roseland Waterpark is known as the biggest waterpark in New York state's Finger Lakes region. It covers a total area space of 56 acres, and it features beautiful Victorian architecture, complete with old English gardens, trellises and fountains. This is a great place to bring your kids, as there are endless water activities for them to indulge in. The temperature of the water in the park is raised to over 70 degrees to create the best conditions for swimming. Some of the facilities that you will find in the park include the Giant Wave Pool, Splash Factory, Mammoth Raft Ride, Body Flumes, Extreme Tube Slides and Adventure River. The Onanda Park is located at the south end of the western shore of the Canandaigua Lake, which is the third largest of the Finger Lakes. It was once a YMCA campground, but it was later transformed into a public park. You can go boating, fishing and swimming at the lake or explore the hiking trails on the other side of West Lake Road. There is a 2-mile trail that goes around the northern part of Barnes Gully, where there are more trails that lead to observation platforms. You will get a spectacular view of three cascades from these platforms. If you are visiting the park during winter, you can go sledding at the slopes on the western side. Some of the amenities that are available at the park are restrooms, picnic tables, cabins and lifeguards. If you are driving to the park from your Canandaigua Bed and Breakfast, you have to pay a parking fee of $1 to $7 at the lakefront section parking lot. Parking at the western side is free.

The Canandaigua Lake State Marine Park is situated along the northern part of the Canandaigua Lake. It is one of the major attractions for tourists in the city because of its great natural beauty and rich history.
