Approximately 50 minutes away from Plymouth, New Hampshire is the Gunstock Mountain Resort. In winter, you'll find activities here like snow skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and snowshoeing. The 50+ downhill skiing trails cover about 220 acres of landscape, while the cross country trails total approximately 30 miles. Gunstock also has the longest snow tubing run in all of New Hampshire called Thrill Hill. There are available equipment rentals, instructors for beginning skiers and snowboarders, and slope runs of all kinds from novice to intermediate, not far from many Plymouth bed and breakfasts.

Approximately 20 minutes from your Plymouth Inn, you can take your spouse on a romantic sleigh ride through the country through Waterville Valley Town Square. Sleighs are pulled by draft horses and the ride will feature views of nearby mountains and foothills. The rides depart from downtown Town Square and can accommodate up to 20 passengers at a time. Waterville Valley sleigh rides are open from December to March when the snow is most abundant.
