The Grand Rapids Children's Museum is an excellent place to take your kids. The entertaining and hands-on exhibits provide hours of fun for kids ages 1 and up. Admission is $6.50 for everyone over one year of age. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m. Keep the kids happy while staying in your Grand Rapids Inn.

The Grand Rapids Public Museum features incredible exhibits for the entire family to enjoy. This is one of the Grand Rapids museums you must see at least once on your vacation. There is a planetarium, history section, kids museum and more. The museum also features special exhibits like the "Body Revealed" display. This exhibit is famous for the unique way it shows the human body. 

The Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium is a neat way to entertain the family. It started in 1961 in honor of astronaut Roger B. Chaffee. There are incredible laser shows, concerts and informative programs available to the public.

Don't just visit this museum, get involved. There are interactive exhibits that provide excellent opportunities to explore. You learn about President and Mrs. Gerald R. Ford through holographic images and displays. Other exhibits about the President include the Oval Office and Cabinet Room.

Visit the museum daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Admission prices are $7 for adults and $3 for kids 6 to 18. Little ones under five get in free.
