This is where all the coins in the United States are made. Tours start at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. You must arrive 15 minutes early and anyone late will not go on the tour. An important thing to remember is that no items can be brought into the mint. That includes purses and baby strollers. They check everyone, including children, before allowing entry. Palm-sized wallets are the only items allowed inside the mint. Leave everything else at your Denver Bed and Breakfast or car. Make your reservations for a free tour of the mint online. Reservations accepted up to 2 months in advance.
