You can get to this beautiful barrier island between Destin and Fort Walton Beach via a bridge from the beach or from Destin. There's something here for the whole family, from nightlife and water sports to youth activities. The boardwalk is an exciting place with restaurants, shops, volleyball and more.

The Gulfarium on Fort Walton Beach on the Florida Coast is another place for family fun with its aquatic entertainment. Just north of Clearwater Beach on the Florida Coast, this park on Caladesi Island is known for its beautiful beach. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing and beachcombing for some of the best seashells anywhere, including huge conches. You might even see dolphins and manatees. Hike the nature trails leading into the interior and do some birdwatching.
