Introduction

Old Ferry Road Bed and Breakfast is a luxury inn between the waters of the White River and Bull Shoals Lake in Lakeview, Arkansas, just minutes from Mountain Home. The bed and breakfast is only 5 minutes from the White River or Bull Shoals Lake. We offer the closest lodging to Bull Shoals dam.

Upon entering Old Ferry Road you know the country lane leads somewhere special. Our bed and breakfast is located in the midst of 300 beautiful Ozark acres. The front entrance of our inn is graced by a circle drive with European style fountain and you will instantly feel the warm hospitality of our southern estate.

Our secluded setting lets you enjoy starry nights and abundant wildlife like Blue birds nesting in the backyard and more deer than you can count! Looking over the rolling hills of our pastoral setting from our spacious deck or hammock is just what the doctor ordered to relieve stress and tension! Four Guest rooms are available at Old Ferry Road B&B. All rooms are luxuriously appointed with premium furnishings like Egyptian cotton linens, silk draperies and rich wood antique furnishings. All guests have full access to the common areas of the Inn including the deck, library, living room and our huge media/game room with big screen plasma TV.

A Warm Welcome Awaits You In the library you'll find an abundance of oak from the ceiling, antique door and fireplace, to ample shelving with an ever growing collection. An antique armoire housing a large flat screen plasma television, fly tying area and assortment of games gives guests the opportunity to relax if they are not reading.

A walnut ceiling is found in the formal dining room. Here you'll be served a full breakfast featuring home baked breads, gourmet items and some family favorites. Many recipes feature local products in season. If you have special dietary needs, let us know when you make reservations, and we will gladly plan selections just for you. We promise you won't leave hungry.

The formal living room has an ash ceiling. The grand piano, period furnishings and silk drapery make this a special room for quiet conversation and special events.

Downstairs is a huge game/media room. This is just the place for a game of billiards or popcorn and a movie on the projection television. Watching your favorite team is even better on a big screen. The crown molding, warm leather look walls and dense carpeting make this one of the most comfortable places to gather. This room is large enough for group activities and small business meetings.

We serve a full breakfast each morning, plan for dietary restrictions, offer a fisherman's early morning option, and provide snacks and beverages. Picnic lunch can be arranged with advance notice. Those groups wishing to have a catered dinner will find space for groups of 10 to 30 to dine in comfort.

Although we are located in a small community, we have many dining options. Fine dining can be experienced within minutes of Old Ferry Road Bed and Breakfast at Gaston's or 178 Club. We will gladly make reservations for you. Family dining, great burgers and pizza are in the immediate area. Pizza delivery is available, too.

Elegant Dining Room

The guest pantry is stocked with teas, coffee, soft drinks and a changing offering of treats including fresh homemade cookies.
Welcome hour is held daily at 5 p.m. during which guests can enjoy their choice of beverage, cheese, and fruits.
