English chestnut paneled wainscoting and elegant tiled floors, grace our spacious Entrance Lobby. The Guest Living Room and Dining Room, feature original oak trusses and supports, and remind you of the working nature of The Old Barn in years gone by. In the main Drawing Room, the massive stone fireplace warms your spirits; the English paintings and antique furnishings enthrall you and soften your mood. In the Dining Room, large patio doors allow guests to enjoy the views to the woods, where hickory and oak trees abound. Combined, these rooms create a relaxing ambiance of luxury and comfort, creating the perfect setting for reading, taking afternoon tea or coffee or conversing with friends. In the morning during the winter months, the warmth of the fireplace in the Drawing Room, reaches out to you as you await a freshly prepared complementary Full English Breakfast from 7:30 am to 9:30 am Monday through Friday, and from 8 to 10 am on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Guests may invite non-resident friends or family to enjoy breakfast, with additional charges per person being added to the guest's account. A two-day advance notice of dietary needs and restrictions is necessary to accommodate requests. |

The elegant guest rooms are soundproofed, quiet, cozy and private, and are decorated in a subtle and tasteful manner. Guests are treated to luxurious King or Queen-size beds with pillow top mattresses and fine cotton linens. The Guest Rooms have either closets or armoires, and have plush terry robes for guest use. Each room is equipped with flat screen TV/DVD + cable, clock radio, coffee maker and bottled water. Complimentary newspapers are delivered to the rooms daily. Full turn down service is offered. The Admiral's Suite also offers guests a separate sitting room with a sofa bed, additional flat screen T.V./DVD, IPOD dock/clock radio, and a private patio. The beautifully appointed Guest Bathrooms are private, and are equipped with either Jacuzzi tub or large enclosed shower, ample vanity space, hairdryer and lighted shaving mirror. Guest Bathrooms have luxurious towels and washcloths, and complementary toiletries. |
