"Setting the Standard in Excellence"
You will find this 1900 mansion in incredible, original condition. Sitting on Crowley's Ridge, overlooking historic Helena and the Mississippi River, this National Register home will take you back to the turn of the century, with the modern conveniences of today.

Helena is at the next bridge crossing on the Mississippi River 60 miles south of Memphis. About 110 miles east of Little Rock, the Inn was built where Crowley's Ridge meets the river. With Helena on the west end of the bridge and Lady Luck Casino on the east, the area has become a popular destination for Bed & Breakfast getaways and Casino gambling.

Stunning antiques, parqueted floors, stained glass, and handmade oriental rugs are complimented by private luxury baths and whirlpool tubs. And there is more -- with six original fireplaces, quartersawn oak woodwork and a highly unusual double seated staircase.
Built in 1900 by Elmer West, the existing structure remained basically unchanged until 1994 when conversion into a Bed & Breakfast began. With the addition of 10 bathrooms, changes are still quite subtle, and extreme care was taken to match interior and exterior trim. At the turn of the century Helena was a small, prosperous, river town; today many antebellum homes remain, some of which can be toured daily.

Area Attractions
- Casinos: There are two casinos within 3 miles of the Inn, and 10 more casinos between Helena and Memphis (about 35 miles north of Helena).
- Antique Shops: Located 5 blocks from the Inn on Cherry Street, several antique shops are conveniently located for the visiting treasure hunter.
- Delta Cultural Center: The original train station now houses the Cultural Center which contains many historical artifacts and period pictures.
- Phillips County Library & Museum: The oldest library in Arkansas is a storehouse of historical information.
- Civil War: On July 4, 1863 a Civil War battle was fought in Helena. A bad day for the Confederacy; Gettysburg and Vicksburg also fell. As I write this script, I can view "Battery C: which is about 50 yards behind the Inn. On another high point about 1 mile north is a Confederate cemetery, a popular historical site.
- Graceland: Foxglove Bed & Breakfast is 65 miles south of Graceland, Elvis' Memphis home.
King Biscuit Blues Festival - Every October Helena hosts the 3rd largest Blues Festival in the world. With major sponsorship from casinos in the area, each year the talent gets better and the audiences get larger. Unfortunately, the lodging industry is overwhelmed. But there are 51 other weeks to visit Blues Corner or catch a free concert at Phillips County Junior College.

Foxglove Bed & Breakfast has 8 guest rooms, with #7 and #8 combining to form a suite which covers more than half of the second floor. Most rooms will have a queen size bed, with #4 having a carved king. All rooms have cable TV and direct dial phones.
All rooms at the Inn are very elegant...it is a matter of personal taste which one you select.
