Pets Welcome

The Farmstead is a sanctuary for all creatures and we welcome your non-human family members. Enjoy your vacation with ALL of your family members here. We understand that your well behaved pets are important to you. It is paramount that everyone (our animals, your animals, and people alike) have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Smaller pets are permitted in two of our rooms and larger pets can enjoy our stable with comfortable heated and air conditioned kennel. For the comfort and safety of all guests, those who are traveling in their own RV accommodations are welcome to have pets on property but are still subject to our Pet Policy.

Our Pet Policy:

Please follow our guidelines for the enjoyment of both residents and guests:

  1. Pets under 35 pounds or 18 inches tall are welcome in the guest rooms. Larger pets can be accommodated in our on-farm kennel.
  2. Pets should be kept on leash when in public areas.
  3. When you are outside, the pet may be off leash (at the pet owners discretion) in the fenced yard. It is strongly discouraged to allow pets to run free over the remainder of the farm. We have livestock who are capable of harming strange dogs. Also, dogs who are unaccustomed to livestock, particularly poultry, may injure or kill our livestock.
  4. Please clean up behind your pet. It is offensive to our pets and a hazard to other guests.
  5. Pet owners assume complete financial responsibility for any damages done by their pet.
  6. Pets left alone in the room may become distressed because of the new environment and create noise problems and/or become destructive. Please do not leave your pet unattended unless confined in a crate and then only for brief (less than 30 minute) periods. Do not leave your pet in the room while you are away from the inn property. An onsite kennel is available in the event you can not take your pet with you. If you desire a pet sitter, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate your needs for a reasonable fee.
