Farm House

The Farm Victorian house has five spacious guest rooms tastefully furnished with antique and reproduction furniture. Lavish use of oak for doors, casings and floors reflects the craftsmanship and style common to turn of the century homes. Three of the rooms have queen beds, and two have king beds.
Two parlors offer guests plenty of space for reading, playing games, working puzzles or just relaxing. The building is centrally heated and cooled, with individual thermostats and ceiling fans in each guest room. A Guest Pantry with a refrigerator and microwave oven is available with complimentary soft drinks and snacks anytime.
The Farm Victorian house

The main parlor has a large stone fireplace, which provides the warmth, and atmosphere usually associated with turn of the century country homes. A TV is available in the main parlor; however, we encourage guests to take advantage of the other entertainment and recreational opportunities in the area.

Relaxation and comfort are of prime concern at Country Oaks.
All rooms have large private baths. Showers have height adjustable and detachable shower wands. Three of the baths also have reproduction claw foot tubs. Guests can enjoy their morning coffee and visit on the expansive wrap around porch while watching the sun rise across the lake and through the century-old oaks.

Sewing Room: This room is decorated with sewing memorabilia, i.e., a treadle sewing machine, hand crank table model machine, and two nightstands made from treadle sewing machine bases. The large room is furnished with English antiques and a king sized bed. The bath has a five-foot claw foot tub, as well as the separate shower. The views from this room is toward the west, looking down the valley.
Miss Kitty's Room: This spacious room is decorated with "cat oriented stuff, e.g., pictures, porcelain figurines, etc." The bath has both a claw foot tub and a large separate shower. The views are toward the mountains and West down the valley. The headboard and nightstand are carved rose English antiques.
Grandpa's Room: This room is more masculine in décor with views in three directions. It is a perfect room for travelers who like to spread out their maps and sort through their newly acquired treasures on the floor. This is a spacious room decorated with memorabilia reminiscent of your grandpa's era.
