The Inn at Bella Vista, a 9000 square foot rock, glass and cedar building situated along a ridge top in Northwest Arkansas, was initially designed by world famous architect, E. Faye Jones and evokes the feeling of Frank Lloyd Wright in visitors.
Located in the center of Bella Vista and only minutes from Bentonville, the Inn sits on 14 acres of trees, gardens and native plants offering wonderful views of the beautiful Ozarks year round. While the Inn offers easy access to all of Bella Vista's amenities and to the surrounding areas, it is a relaxing haven where guests can unwind and enjoy being pampered.
Your hosts, Bill and Beverly Williams, have worked to create a retreat that is environmentally friendly and a haven for wildlife. The Inn is a NWF Certified Wildlife Habitat. For bird lovers, there is a wide variety of birds to watch. Every month seems to bring a new and exciting change to the wildlife visitors. In July and August, a variety of hummingbirds flock to the numerous feeders while Monarch butterflies stop over en mass in September. The beauty of the fall foliage in October sets the stage for the arrival of the Bald Eagles for the winter. Add to that the daily visits by the deer, chipmunks, squirrels, possums, foxes and, even the occasional coyote and life is always busy at the Inn.
Special PackagesCooking at The Inn Each school is designed to give students a hands on approach to cooking. The emphasis is on learning to be comfortable in the kitchen while preparing dishes to wow your friends and family without spending lots of time. Students work directly with recipes developed by Bill and Beverly. They learn to plan menus, stock the pantry for quick and easy meals, modify recipes and prepare a wide variety of items. Then they get to eat what they prepare.
Schools are small so that every student has plenty of personal attention. There is a minimum of two and a maximum of five students per school. Two nights lodging is included in the school package here at The Inn.
Three separate cooking programs are being offered from November to March this year. Each one covers a wide variety of topics and several great recipes to take home. They are:
1. Breakfast All Day
2. Baking Breads
3. Last Minute Weekend Guests
In order to offer students the most flexible options, the first to reserve a spot in any school chooses the program taught in that class. So you pick the time and the subject. Once the school has a theme, all students attending will follow that program. So book early if you want a specific time and topic.
Costs: Package covers the following:
Two nights lodging
Breakfast both days
Cooking supplies
Planning session
Hands on class time
Desserts and coffee first night
Dinner second night
