Bartee Meadow Bed & Breakfast

Our comfortable hilltop home is situated on thirteen wooded acres located 6 miles east of Hot Springs on Highway 70 - just 5 minutes from Magic Springs Amusement Park, and less than 10 minutes from Historic Bathhouse Row. Our secluded and very private location offers country peace and quiet, yet is convenient to Hot Springs shopping, restaurants, activities, and sightseeing. You may play on our lighted tennis court and bike on our country roads. Those who are less energetic may relax in our double hammock, feed the birds and squirrels from park benches, enjoy a basket lunch on the picnic table or the large, shady deck, and curl up on our cozy terrace swing with early morning coffee.

You may also decide to simply relax and enjoy the quiet solitude of Bartee Meadow. Either way you will certainly enjoy our food! From your early morning coffee to your plate of Bedtime Cookies, your taste buds are our assignment!! If you have a happy tummy, then our job is done! We believe that food should nourish and comfort. Our Breakfast Feast is served from 8 - 9 AM - you pick the time. Some of our specialties include Orange Pecan Stuffed French Toast, Peach-Almond Muffins, Creole Cheddar Grits & Grillades, or Ginger Pancakes With Lemon Sauce.

We keep copies of menus from popular local restaurants to help you select a spot for lunch or dinner. We'll be glad to give you directions.

Awesome Autumn Escape
Experience the Ouachita Mountains during one of our most spectacular seasons. Revel in two days and nights under the colorful leafy canopy of our hilltop woods. Arrive for check-in at 3. We'll greet you with mugs of steaming cranberry spiced cider and a plate of our vanilla oatmeal bars. Supper will be delivered to your room on your first evening, and horseback rides for two are available at a nearby ranch. A bottle of sparkling beverage and keepsake crystal glasses will await you by your private hot tub. Downtown Hot Springs is just minutes away from Bartee Meadow. Hot Springs National Park is world famous for its Bathhouse Row and many of these historic buildings are open to tour or to receive the full spa treatment. Hot Springs' downtown is also filled with wonderful shopping including many unique art galleries as well as many fine restaurants serving a variety of cuisine. Around the Hot Springs area you'll find many different activities including Oaklawn park offering thoroughbred horse racing, Magic Springs theme park offering fun for the whole family, interactive and educational museums, entertaining stage shows and the beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens offering year round natural beauty in a park like setting.

The Arts are alive in Hot Springs. The many art galleries often sponsor a "Gallery Walk" featuring extended hours and often include the artists themselves on hand. The area also offers a wide variety of musical concerts, stage productions and nationally touring exhibits.
