Meet the Innkeepers
Larry & Kay McCulley
God has given us this opportunity to be of service to others and we are committed to providing a place where you can come and be refreshed from the busy life we find ourselves living these days.
Kay
I grew up on a farm in Ohio, so I love having the opportunity to live in the country again. A Bed and Breakfast has been a dream of mine for a long time and with my love to cook and host guests in our home it is a perfect fit. I worked in the corporate world for about 25 years and retired in 1995 to take care of two grandsons. My joy of cooking and baking led me to start making cakes for people and the first thing I knew I was catering food and cakes for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties and church fellowships. God has been so good to us to provide this opportunity. Larry and I are truly looking forward to meeting you in this new chapter of our lives.
Larry
I grew up in California as a city slicker with a hidden desire for the country. I spent most of my life between the Los Angeles metroplex, San Francisco and Houston areas. My love of the country didn't come alive until Kay and I married. It was then I had a chance to sample true country living on her parent's farm in Ohio. Meeting her family and getting to know the ways of good old country living really stirred something in me. It has now taken 26 years to get where we both are really experiencing the country in ways we could only dream about, as Innkeepers of 3 Oaks Country Bed & Breakfast. I will be using my skills of administration and general management to take care of the business side and some general landscaping and remodeling plans we have for the B&B. Kay's the gourmet chef as you will find out when you visit.
Sadie
Sadie is our welcoming committee. She is a petite, 8 pound, Cockapoo and she lives here at 3 Oaks too. She will greet you with a bark and let you know that you are welcome. She has been known to get her ball and ask you to play with her. She likes living in the country too. She sometimes gets to play with the chipmunks and squirrels.
