Fountainview Mansion is located on 18 secluded acres of pristine grounds with panoramic views of the Alabama countryside. The Mansion is situated atop the summit of a hill on one of the highest vantage points in Auburn. Fountainview evokes old-world charm and elegance with all the comforts of home. Housing an extensive collection of antiques and objects d'arte from all over the world, visitors experience the grace of living in an English country setting conveniently located within the city limits of Auburn, Alabama. Fountainview offers un-paralleled guest accommodations, meeting space for corporate and university retreats, church staff planning retreats, weddings, receptions, and parties. Fountainview offers many large public rooms, all with flexible furnishings, to meet nearly every clients need. In addition to the luxurious guest rooms and suites, Fountainview provides its clients unforgettable public and meeting spaces in a variety of configurations to meet the needs of discerning guests. |

| The dramatic Foyer makes an immediate grand entrance to Fountainview Mansion. With its soaring 25' ceiling and twin staircases, the foyer serves as an elegant reception hall to receive your guests. Lighting the foyer is a dramatic 7' hand-cut crystal chandelier in the empire style. With 78 lights, its prisms glisten with a myriad of colors often being reflected in the elegant travertine marble floors. Soon to arrive is a 12' pier mirror from a mansion in Baltimore, Maryland dating from the 1800's. | The formal Living Room with its grand scale is an enchanting room. Bathed in the warmth of its pistachio hued walls with magnificent crown moldings, the room evokes the grandeur of another place and time. The marble fireplace with its magnificent mantel is topped by an antique French pier mirror from the 1800's. Custom draperies by designer Deborah Broughton in rich muted fabrics were inspired by designs from draperies at the White House lending an aura of grace and historical significance. |
| The room is furnished with a magnificent 6 piece Louis XV style salon set featuring a perfectly proportioned sofa and 4 arm chairs (fauteuils) upholstered in an elegant Goblain style tapestry fabric. The table topped in elegant polished cream marble rounds out the incredible suite. All pieces in the suite were handcarved and expertly finished in rich gold leaf. Salon furnishings can easily be removed for the room to accommodate 5 to 6 round tables for sit-down dinners. In all, Fountainview Mansion can provide space on the main floor for nearly 170 guests for sit down. | |

The warmth of the Hearth Room on the main floor is the perfect place for morning coffee, reading a book by the fireplace or catching up on current affairs during your gourmet breakfast. The entire room was architecturally designed around the 18th century European mantel with its classic dark stain lending the feel of a posh English drawing room. With plush, comfortable furnishings inspired by old-world craftsmanship, the room evokes a comparable feel to rooms at Biltmore house. With its furnishings upholstered in a rich cut velvet fabric and bullion fringe in shades of deep ruby and burnished gold, the room provides the perfect spot for elegant yet comfortable relaxation and conversation. The 19th century French Briton armoire now provides space for the television. |

The Formal Dining Room with its muted blush coral walls provides some of the most exquisite and elegant space within the mansion. Featuring massive windows with custom draperies inspired by window treatments at the White House and Biltmore House, the formal dining room provides a regal yet warm and ambient space for guests to enjoy. The large room features a massive, 45-light Maria Theresa chandelier. A centerpiece and grand focal point of the room is the massive hand-carved Rosetta marble mantel recently purchased from a Florida gallery specifically to match the decor of this grand room. The dining room speaks the grace and elegance of a by-gone age. The furnishing in the formal dining room are predominantly American handcarved walnut pieces. The dining table, chairs, and massive marble topped server grace the room enhanced by an 1880 English breakfront which blends seamlessly with the American antiques. The dining room can be used in a variety of configurations including a formal sit-down dinner with the main dining table, a sit-down dinner with multiple tables, an elegant buffet or even a corporate or university meeting. |

| The Formal Study/Library is one of the most intimate rooms at Fountainview Mansion. With its walls completely clad in richly stained pine and floors in historic heart of pine from the ceiling of a church in south Alabama, the study provides a warm and elegant meeting space for consultations, intimate board meetings or reading a great book. The study will provide a myriad of reading materials as well as exquisite gift items for you to remember your special stay. The study furnishings can be reconfigured to accommodate guest tables for an intimate meal, to display the grooms cake for a wedding reception, or hold a VIP board meeting. The desk of French design features brass ormolu details and magnificent wood inlays. The Venetian filing cabinet, one of the most exquisite pieces in the mansion dates from the late 1800's, hand-carved in walnut. The room also features a magnificent wrought iron chandelier and sconces, 11' windows providing an exquisite view of the rear terrace and pool, as well as a marble fireplace with an antique European mantel. |
