Soldotna, Alaska (AK) Bed & Breakfast: Two blocks from the Kenai River. We provide a suite that contains a queen-sized bed and a single bed. The separate bedroom also has a queen-sized bed. The bath is located on the same floor and is shared by both rooms. We also have a bedroom with a king-sized bed with bath on the upper level. For your comfort, a dining area, refrigerator, microwave, coffee brewer, and satellite TV have been placed in the main suite for your convenience. A delicious breakfast is provided each morning.

Salmon Puppies

Ingredients:

1 cup cornmeal
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup bisquick
1 pound fresh salmon

Mix first nine ingredients together until it has the consistency of pancake batter. Cut up salmon in bite size pieces. Coat Salmon and fry in hot corn/peanut oil until light golden brown. Do not overcook. The salmon is done when it flakes. Enjoy!
