The Homestead
The Homestead
Our largest guest bedroom is on the far end of the first floor and also has easy access. Pillow top queen size and memory foam full size bed. Fireplace, 6-foot sliding glass doors, deck that overlooks a private boat harbor, large private bath with deep, oversized soaking tub and shower, and two sinks.
The Bears Den
The Bears Den is in the middle of the house on the first floor with easy access for those with limited mobility. Memory foam queen size bed, cozy sitting area, five foot sliding glass doors, deck overlooking the water, large private bath with oversized deep soaking tub and shower, two sinks and a makeup area.
The Northern Frontier
The Northern Frontier is on the second floor on the far end of the house. Six foot sliding glass doors, private covered balcony, pillow top queen size bed, plush furnishings, elegant wall fireplace, connecting private bath with skylight, a glass walk- in shower, lots of mirrors, decorative tile.
The Ravens Haven
The Ravens Haven is perfect for honeymooners. This second floor room has 6 foot sliding glass doors, a covered balcony with spiral staircase leading to first floor deck and water's edge. Memory foam California King Bed, corner fireplace, attached private bath with cathedral ceiling and large skylight, a glass walk in shower, decorative porcelain tile.
The Eagles Nest
The Eagles Nest is located on the top floor with a private entrance and covered porch. This luxury suite features the artwork of Fred Machetanz, Sidney Laurence and Nathalie Parenteau. Kitchen stocked for self-serve continental breakfast and everything you need to cook your own meals. The eating area and living room have large wrap-around windows overlooking the ocean and mountains, a freestanding gas fireplace, a gathering table, two leather love seats and a flat panel TV. The bedroom has plush carpet, a flat panel TV, two double beds, and accommodates one to four guests. A private phone line, DVD and VCR players, a radio with CD player, and wireless high speed Internet are provided. Smoking is permitted on the closed-in front porch.
The Bunkhouse
The Bunkhouse is a very romantic private cabin that sits beside the main house and overlooks the Tongass Narrows. The main room has a queen bed, a fireplace, a ceiling fan, an eating and sitting area and large picture windows overlooking the water. There is a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a single bed and a beautiful view of the rock gardens. Sirious satellite surround sound, high speed Wireless Internet, open sun deck.

The Black Bear Inn Main House Rental: When all 4 bedrooms in the main house are rented, it can accommodate up to 10 guest. Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required.
Black Bear Inn Main House and Eagles Nest Rental: When the house and the apartment are rented together they can accommodate up to 13. Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required.
Black Bear Inn Main House, Eagles Nest and Bunkhouse Rental: When the house, the apartment and the cabin are rented together they can accommodate up to 16. Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required.
$50 for each additional guest.
The Inn provides free local phone calling and free use of a copy, scan and fax machine.
The Inn is non-smoking, but covered porches can be used for smoking.
Plenty of off-street parking is available on site and additional parking for RV's, boats and boat trailers is located a half block away.
